Man Arrested After Attempted Burglary Following Car Crash

Joao Gabril Almeida-Bastos, a 21-year-old resident of Danbury, was taken into police custody after allegedly attempting to enter a home in the aftermath of a car crash involving a stolen vehicle.

He eventually lost control of the vehicle and crashed at the intersection with Turkey Roost Road before fleeing on foot.
