A 39-year-old mother from Rochester Hills has finally been able to return home after being the last of nine victims wounded in the tragic splash pad shooting on June 15. The woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, was reunited with her family on Friday, nearly a month after the harrowing incident took place at Brooklands Plaza Splash Pad.

Heroic Act of Motherhood
Reports suggest that the mother sustained serious injuries while bravely trying to shield her children from the gunman during the shooting. She was shot multiple times in the process.
