Details of the Accident
According to sources, Hagerty was struck by a commercial vehicle while walking as a pedestrian in the 300 block of Ford Street. Despite the efforts of first responders and good Samaritans who attempted life-saving measures at the scene, Hagerty succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead by St. Lawrence County Coroner Kevin Crosby. The cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma, and no autopsy has been scheduled at this time.
