The Tragic Car Crash in Castaic: Three Lives Lost
In a devastating turn of events, three individuals lost their lives in a fiery car crash in Castaic. The victims were identified as Brian White, a 22-year-old man, Quinell Shelton, a 15-year-old boy, and Nylah Blanchard, a 16-year-old girl. The driver of the vehicle, 19-year-old Taylor Roberson from Redlands, was hospitalized for major injuries and is currently in custody.
The Fatal Crash
The California Highway Patrol received reports of the accident on The Old Road around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday. The silver 2010 Toyota Camry, driven by Roberson, was travelling at a high speed northbound on The Old Road when it failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. The vehicle crashed into a tree, splitting in half and ejecting the three passengers.
The Aftermath
Tragically, all three passengers were declared deceased upon the arrival of the Los Angeles County Fire Department due to multiple traumatic injuries. Roberson, the sole survivor, managed to extricate herself from the vehicle. However, she exhibited signs of alcohol intoxication and was determined to be under the influence at the time of the crash.
