**Bowling Green Man Arrested After Early Morning Crash**

In Bowling Green, Kentucky, a man named Pedro Gregorio, aged 30, has found himself in hot water after being involved in an early morning crash. The incident took place at the intersection of Russellville Road and Campbell Lane, where Bowling Green police were called to the scene shortly after midnight on Friday. Upon arrival, officers discovered two vehicles facing the same direction on opposite sides of the road.

**Suspicious Behavior Leads to Arrest**

Pedro Gregorio, the driver of one of the vehicles, exhibited suspicious behaviour that caught the attention of the authorities. With glassy eyes, slurred speech, and a strong smell of alcohol emanating from him, Gregorio was clearly not in a fit state to be behind the wheel. Additionally, he was unsteady on his feet, further indicating that he may have been under the influence. After consenting to a sobriety test, Gregorio was promptly taken into custody and transported to the Medical Center of Bowling Green for further evaluation.

**Discovery of Open Alcohol Containers**

A search of Gregorio’s vehicle revealed a disturbing find – multiple open and empty containers of alcohol. This discovery only served to reinforce the suspicion that Gregorio had been drinking and driving. To make matters worse, no insurance belonging to Gregorio was found in the vehicle, a serious offence in itself.

**Repeat Offender**

Further investigation into Gregorio’s background uncovered a troubling pattern. It was revealed that Gregorio had previously pled guilty to driving under the influence on two separate occasions in 2019 and 2020. This history of reckless behaviour only added to the severity of the current charges he was facing.

**Charges Laid Against Gregorio**

After receiving medical clearance, Gregorio was transported to the Warren County Regional Jail where he was officially charged with a slew of offences. These charges included criminal mischief, wanton endangerment, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, failure to maintain required insurance, driving without a valid operator’s license, and possession of an open alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle.

**Fortunate Escape for Second Vehicle’s Driver**

Fortunately, the driver of the second vehicle involved in the crash, a pregnant woman, escaped unharmed. The outcome could have been much worse, considering the reckless actions of Gregorio.

In a shocking turn of events, Pedro Gregorio’s irresponsible behaviour has not only put his own life at risk but also endangered the lives of others on the road. This incident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of driving under the influence and the importance of responsible behaviour behind the wheel.
