Unveiling the Shocking List of Russian Army Instructors

In a recent investigation by Suspilne’s team, a stunning list of 151 Russian army instructors has been revealed, shedding light on their covert activities in training newly mobilized soldiers. These “specialists” operate under a veil of secrecy, with little public information available about their roles and responsibilities.

The Traitors Among Us: Uncovering Their Identities

Among the individuals identified in the list, 12 are flagged as traitors with Ukrainian citizenship, either having betrayed their country or actively participating in the conflict in Ukraine. One such figure is Vyacheslav Moskalenko, a 48-year-old private who specializes in training Russian recruits on anti-tank missile systems and grenade launchers.

Moskalenko’s dark past includes his involvement in the “Donbas PMC,” a group of militants who fought in eastern Ukraine from 2014 to 2022. He was also part of the Russian assault on Mariupol in the spring of 2022. Despite hailing from Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region, Moskalenko holds dual Russian and Ukrainian citizenship, yet openly expresses his disdain for Ukraine on social media.

A Convicted Criminal Turned Traitor

In 1999, Moskalenko was convicted of theft and served time in prison, only to be released on parole in 2001. Defying a travel ban, he fled to Moscow and remained a fugitive in Ukraine until at least 2010. Moskalenko later married a Russian woman, settled in Voronezh, and obtained Russian citizenship.

The Enigmatic Mykola Klochko

Another individual on the list is Mykola Klochko, a 64-year-old originally from Bakhmut, now residing in Alushta, Crimea. Despite projecting a peaceful lifestyle on social media, Klochko is employed by the Russian army as a lieutenant colonel, training mobilized soldiers in weaponry and tactics.

Klochko, a veteran of the Afghan war and recipient of the Soviet Order of the Red Star, previously ran a business in Ukraine, renting sports and leisure equipment. Following Crimea’s annexation, he swiftly acquired Russian citizenship while seemingly retaining his Ukrainian passport. Records show his business activities still listed in Ukrainian registers, with a bank account in a Ukrainian bank as of 2020.
