Ryan Van Epps, the former insurance analyst, managed Top Rail Fence, a company specializing in fence design and installation in north Georgia. Prior to his role at the fence company, Ryan worked at Van Epps Insurance Advisory and Administrative Services, a firm owned by his father. The family was returning to Georgia after attending a baseball tournament in Cooperstown, where the 12-year-old James played.
