Frances was born on March 15, 1940, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late William and Margaret Blaine. She grew up in a close-knit family and was the eldest of three siblings. Frances had a passion for helping others from a young age, which led her to pursue a career in social work.

After graduating from college with a degree in social work, Frances dedicated her life to serving others. She worked tirelessly to support those in need, always putting the well-being of others before her own. Frances had a special gift for connecting with people and making them feel seen and heard.

In addition to her work in social services, Frances was a devoted mother to her two children, Sarah and David. She was a pillar of strength and support for her family, always there to offer guidance, love, and encouragement. Frances was also a proud grandmother to three grandchildren, whom she adored and cherished.

Frances had a passion for gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. She was known for her delicious homemade meals and her beautiful flower garden. Frances had a green thumb and could make anything grow with her nurturing touch.

A celebration of Frances’s life will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at St. Mary’s Church in Chicago, Illinois. The service will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will be followed by a reception in the church hall. All are welcome to attend and pay their respects to Frances and her family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice in Frances’s memory. She dedicated her life to helping others, and supporting a cause that was dear to her heart would be a fitting tribute to her legacy.
