During the execution of the search warrant, authorities found four adults and three children inside the residence. Among the arrested adults were 33-year-old Tashon Roberts and 34-year-old Coleman Phillips, both of whom were apprehended on outstanding warrants unrelated to the search. Investigators revealed that the operation had the capacity to churn out an estimated 20,000 pills daily, although the actual number of fentanyl pills produced remains unknown.
The presence of three children, aged 4 years and younger, during the search raised concerns. Shockingly, one of the children tested positive for fentanyl exposure, underscoring the dangers posed by such illicit drug activities.

Legal Actions and Charges

Tashon Roberts, arrested on July 2, 2024, faced charges including possession with intent of fentanyl exceeding 50 grams, child abuse, special offences related to firearms and controlled substances, and conspiracy charges.
Imani Hale, aged 28, was also arrested on the same day for charges related to possession with intent and unlawful manufacturing of fentanyl, among others.
Coleman Phillips, apprehended on June 20, faced similar charges as Roberts, including possession with intent, child abuse, special offender charges, and unlawful manufacturing of fentanyl.
Public Health Concerns
Data from the Denver Department of Public Health and Environment underscored the severity of the issue, with 598 drug-related deaths recorded in 2023, of which 389 involved fentanyl. The prevalence of fentanyl-related fatalities highlights the urgent need for stringent measures to combat the distribution and production of such deadly substances.
