The incident occurred in the early morning hours of Tuesday, June 25, when Gresham police attempted to stop the stolen vehicle on Southeast 159th Avenue and Southeast Division Street.

It was later revealed that the car had been reported stolen. Tragically, Brasky and Rolon-Ekis did not survive the crash, while another passenger, recent Ida B. Wells graduate Cole “CJ” Johnson, sustained life-threatening injuries and is currently recovering.
