Tragic Shooting Leaves One Dead, Another In Critical Condition
In a tragic turn of events, the Birmingham Police department is currently conducting a homicide investigation following a shooting that took place late Saturday evening on I-59 South. The incident, which occurred just before the First Ave North Exit ramp, left two men inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds. Sadly, one of the victims, 25-year-old Javonte McDonald, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was rushed to UAB Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
