Death – Obituary- Cause of Death News : It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic news of the passing of our beloved MacKenzie Smits. MacKenzie was a vibrant spirit, full of life and love, and her untimely death has left a void in the hearts of all who knew her.
MacKenzie was born on August 12, 1995, in the small town of Oakdale, where she grew up surrounded by family and friends who adored her. From a young age, MacKenzie exhibited a zest for life that was infectious to those around her. She had a passion for adventure and always sought out new experiences, whether it be hiking in the mountains or trying new foods at local restaurants.
MacKenzie was a talented artist, with a natural gift for painting and drawing. Her creative spirit shone through in everything she did, from the way she dressed to the way she decorated her room. She had a unique sense of style that was all her own, and she was never afraid to express herself through her art.
In addition to her artistic talents, MacKenzie was also a dedicated student. She excelled in school, earning top grades and receiving numerous awards for her academic achievements. She had a thirst for knowledge and was always eager to learn new things, whether it be through her classes or through her own personal research.
But above all else, MacKenzie was a loving daughter, sister, and friend. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for those she cared about. She had a special bond with her family, especially her parents, who she looked up to and admired. She was a loyal friend, always there to offer a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on.
Tragically, MacKenzie’s life was cut short in a car accident on the evening of September 23, 2021. The details of the accident are still unclear, but what is certain is that the world has lost a bright light that can never be replaced. The outpouring of love and support from the community has been overwhelming, a testament to the impact that MacKenzie had on those around her.

A celebration of MacKenzie’s life will be held on October 2, 2021, at the Oakdale Community Center. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the MacKenzie Smits Memorial Fund, which will support art education programs for underprivileged youth in the community.
