Death – Obituary- Cause of Death News : It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lindon Burkhart. Lindon was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He touched the lives of all who knew him and will be deeply missed.

Lindon was born on May 15, 1950, in a small town in Ohio. He grew up with a love for the outdoors and spent much of his youth exploring the forests and streams near his home. This love for nature stayed with him throughout his life, and he could often be found hiking or fishing in his free time.

After high school, Lindon pursued a career in education. He was a dedicated teacher for over 30 years, inspiring countless students with his passion for learning and his commitment to excellence. Lindon had a special gift for connecting with young people and helping them realize their full potential. He was known for his patience, kindness, and sense of humor, which endeared him to both his students and colleagues.

In addition to his work as an educator, Lindon was a devoted family man. He met the love of his life, Sarah, in college, and they were married for over 40 years. Together, they raised three children and built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Lindon was a dedicated husband and father, always putting his family first and providing unwavering support and encouragement to those he loved.

Lindon was also a proud grandfather to six grandchildren, who brought him immeasurable joy and pride. He loved spending time with them, sharing his love of nature and teaching them valuable life lessons. Lindon’s grandchildren adored him and will always treasure the special bond they shared with their beloved “Papa.”

In addition to his family, Lindon had a wide circle of friends who will miss him dearly. A memorial service to celebrate Lindon’s life will be held on Saturday, August 28th, at 2:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church in his hometown of Ohio. All are welcome to attend and pay their respects to this remarkable man who meant so much to so many.
