Arrest Made in Martinsburg Bank Robbery
A recent bank robbery at the Martinsburg VA Federal Credit Union in Berkeley County has left the community in shock. The incident took place on June 27th at 1:10pm, with one bank teller sustaining a hand injury during the robbery. However, thanks to the quick actions of the bank employees, law enforcement was able to swiftly apprehend the suspect.

The bank employees provided a detailed description of the perpetrator, which was immediately relayed to Berkeley County dispatch. Deputy Weidman and other members of the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Department’s Criminal Investigation Division were in the vicinity and sprang into action.
