In a disturbing turn of events, five more individuals have been arrested in connection with the heinous gang rape of a minor in Hyderabad. The culprits, identified as Sripanga Vijay Kumar, Bollepogu Ajay, Guddanti Krishna, Sabavath Hathya Naik, Enjamuri Madhu, James Xaviour, Vagmare Balaji, M.R.W. Deepak, Chakkolu Naresh, and Thonte Kiran Kumar, were apprehended within Neredmet police station limits.
The prime accused, Vijay Kumar, reportedly involved his friends in the repeated sexual assault of an 11-year-old girl over several months. Shockingly, the gang allegedly gave the victim ganja to subdue her. The victim has bravely come forward, stating that she was given the drug disguised in a cold drink.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Mahesh has confirmed that the survivor, now six months pregnant, is in a fragile physical state. She has been hospitalised and her health is being closely monitored by the Child Welfare Commission.
