Claim of Responsibility

Notably, gangster Himanshu Bhau took to Instagram to claim responsibility for the heinous act, citing it as revenge for the killing of his close associate ‘Shakti Dada’. The accused individuals were later identified as Ashish, Vikas, and Bijender.

Following the incident, a team from the Special Cell’s Northern region was formed to track down the culprits. After conducting raids at suspected hideouts in Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab, the police were able to apprehend Bijender on June 28 in Rohini.
