Identity of Slain Victim Revealed

In a tragic turn of events, Chatham-Kent police have identified the woman found slain in Chatham as Louise Thomson, a 27-year-old from Milton, Ontario. The investigation began on June 4 when officers responded to a call at a William Street South address in Chatham and discovered Thomson’s lifeless body.

Charges Laid Against Suspects

Following the discovery of Thomson’s body, two men, Jeffrey Davis, 44, and David Lozon, 59, both from Chatham, were arrested and charged with first-degree murder and indignity to a dead body. The investigation took a new turn when a third suspect, Sky-Linn Holden, a 23-year-old woman of no fixed address, was apprehended in Windsor and also charged with first-degree murder and indignity to a body.

Holden was taken to Chatham-Kent police headquarters and is currently awaiting a bail hearing. Davis and Lozon have made court appearances on June 5 and June 19, with Lozon scheduled for another court date on Friday and Davis set to appear on July 3. Both individuals remain in custody.

Continued Investigation

As the case progresses through the legal system, a publication ban has been put in place to protect the integrity of the trial. Despite the heinous nature of the crime, police have assured the public that this incident is isolated and there is no immediate threat to public safety.
