Virginia was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. Virginia had a passion for gardening and spent countless hours tending to her beautiful flowers and vegetables. She also enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, always making sure no one left her home hungry.

In addition to her love for gardening and cooking, Virginia was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time at the local library. Virginia was a devout member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Bend, where she volunteered her time and talents to various church activities. She had a strong faith and found comfort in attending Mass and participating in church events. Virginia’s faith was a guiding light in her life, and she found solace in prayer during difficult times.

Virginia is survived by her loving children, Jane (Mark) Smith, David (Karen) Jurss, and Sarah (Tom) Johnson. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Michael, Emily, Matthew, Lauren, and Megan, as well as her adored great-grandchildren, Olivia and Ethan. Virginia will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will always remember her warm smile and gentle spirit.

A funeral service to celebrate Virginia’s life will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Bend on Friday, June 28, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at Schmidt Funeral Home on Thursday, June 27, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Virginia will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery in West Bend following the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Bend in Virginia’s honor. The family would like to thank the staff at Schmidt Funeral Home for their compassionate care and support during this difficult time.
