A couple, John Cheso and Shannon Powell, were arrested in North Highlands, California, on Sunday on charges of sex trafficking two 17-year-old girls. The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office reported that a sheriff’s deputy spotted two young girls wearing lingerie near a vehicle around 8 p.m. near Watt Avenue and Winona Way. Upon speaking to the girls, it was revealed that they were victims of sex trafficking.
