A tragic incident unfolded in Limington, Maine, on Saturday, when Maine State Police responded to a deadly three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 117 and Route 11. The crash claimed the life of a passenger in one of the vehicles, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Details of the Crash
According to Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss, the crash involved three vehicles – a Subaru Impreza, a Lexus RX300, and a Jeep Cherokee. The Subaru and Lexus were traveling in opposite directions on Route 11, while the Jeep Cherokee was heading north on Route 117.
The passenger who tragically lost their life in the crash has been identified as 32-year-old Casey Lubell of Ipswitch, Massachusetts. Three other individuals in the Subaru and the driver of the Lexus sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening and were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Maine State Police, along with assistance from Gorham police, Limington Fire and Rescue, Hollis Fire and Rescue, and Standish Fire and Rescue, are conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
