Reports indicate that a Toyota Tacoma travelling south on Avenue C failed to stop at the intersection of County 14th Street, colliding with a Ford F-150. Twist was a passenger in the Ford and succumbed to his injuries at Yuma Regional Medical Center.

Further information from YCSO reveals that the driver and another passenger of the Ford were also taken to YRMC with injuries, while the occupants of the Toyota Tacoma sustained serious injuries. Authorities suspect that impairment and speed played a role in the crash.
