Boone Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the driver responsible for a hit-and-run incident in a grocery store parking lot. The incident occurred on Friday at approximately 10:30 a.m. in the Ingles parking lot, where an unidentified vehicle collided with the rear of a parked Audi SQ5. The force of the impact caused the Audi to roll through the parking lot and collide with a parked Jeep Cherokee.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported as both parked vehicles were unoccupied at the time of the incident. The driver of the unknown vehicle fled the scene without providing any identification, leaving authorities with little to go on in terms of tracking them down.
