Death – Obituary- Cause of Death News : It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Susan Marinelli of Avon, Connecticut. Formerly of Canton and Torrington, Susan was a beloved member of her community and touched the lives of all who knew her.

Susan was born on March 12, 1950, in Torrington, Connecticut, to her parents, Michael and Eleanor Marinelli. She grew up in a close-knit family and was always known for her kind heart and infectious smile. Susan attended Canton High School, where she excelled academically and made many lifelong friends.

After graduating, Susan went on to pursue a career in social work, where she dedicated her life to helping others. She was passionate about making a difference in the lives of those less fortunate and worked tirelessly to advocate for social justice and equality.

In her free time, Susan enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid reader and had a love for gardening. Susan had a green thumb and could often be found tending to her beautiful flowers and vegetables in her backyard.

Susan will be deeply missed by her family, including her siblings, John Marinelli and Mary Wilson, as well as her nieces and nephews, Sarah, Michael, Emily, and Matthew. She will also be remembered by her many friends and colleagues who admired her dedication to serving others.

A celebration of Susan’s life will be held at the Avon Community Center on Saturday, October 23rd, at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Susan Marinelli Memorial Fund, which will support causes that were near and dear to her heart.

While we mourn the loss of Susan, we take comfort in knowing that she is at peace and watching over us from above. Her legacy of kindness and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
