Arrest of Suspected Bandits and Car Thief in Kaduna
In a recent operation by security operatives in Kaduna, five suspected bandits, their informants, and a car thief were apprehended. The arrest was made following intelligence received by the Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) of Maigana and Tafa, leading to successful operations to nab the criminals.

Details of the Operation
On June 15th, at about 4:10 a.m., the DPO of Maigana received information from a concerned citizen about a group of kidnappers planning to collect ransom money. Acting swiftly, the DPO mobilized a patrol team and local vigilantes to the location, resulting in the arrest of two suspected kidnappers, Shuaiabu Bala and Safinu Musa.
During interrogation, the suspects confessed to their involvement in the crime, and efforts are underway to apprehend other members of their gang. Additionally, on June 17th, three suspected kidnappers, Sani Amadu, Sani Lawal, and Aliyu Usman, were arrested in Tafa Town. Incriminating evidence was found on their phones, linking them to banditry activities.
Car Theft Arrest
In a separate incident on June 13th, the Anti-Car Theft Unit of the State Criminal Investigation Department apprehended Chinago Harrison with a stolen black Toyota Land Cruiser Jeep. The vehicle was traced back to a company in Ogun State, and further investigations will be carried out by the Ogun State Police Command.
