In a tragic turn of events, a human arm that washed up on a Waukegan beach has been connected through DNA testing as belonging to Sade Robinson, a 19-year-old woman who was identified as a victim in a Milwaukee murder case back in April. The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) notified the Lake County Coroner’s Office (LCCO) of the DNA results, confirming Robinson’s identity as the victim.

Robinson’s family was notified of the DNA testing results by the MCSO shortly after confirming the details with the LCCO. The arm was initially found on Saturday, May 11, at around 8:30 p.m. on Waukegan Municipal Beach. The LCCO was called to collect the arm, which was mostly intact, and conduct a forensic analysis to confirm the victim’s gender and age range, now confirmed to be Robinson.

Maxwell Anderson, a 33-year-old man, was charged in the Milwaukee murder case where Robinson was identified as a victim. Anderson faced charges of first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and arson in connection with Robinson’s death.
Details of Robinson’s Disappearance
Robinson had been reported missing on April 2 by a friend. An employee of the building where Robinson lived told police that she was excited about a date she had planned for April 1. Surveillance video from a restaurant showed Robinson and Anderson sitting together at the bar on the evening of April 1. Her burned car was found the next morning, leading to the discovery of her tragic fate.
Anderson’s Arrest and Charges
Anderson, a Milwaukee resident, was arrested on April 4, two days after a leg was found by a passerby at Warnimont Park along Lake Michigan in Cudahy, Wisconsin. The leg had been severed just below the hip. The criminal complaint filed in Milwaukee County circuit court detailed the charges against Anderson, highlighting the gruesome nature of Robinson’s murder.
