Arrest Made in Norfolk Shooting Case
A tragic shooting incident in Norfolk, Virginia, has resulted in the arrest of a suspect. The Norfolk Police Department confirmed that detectives have charged Michael A. Lewis Jr., 27, with second-degree murder and use of a firearm. The victim, Bobby L. Hill, 32, of Chesapeake, tragically lost his life in the shooting.

Details of the Incident
The incident took place on June 18, 2024, around 10:15 a.m. Officers responded to a call in the 3100 block of Kimball Terrace, where they found Hill suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite efforts to save him, Hill was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following an investigation, Norfolk Police were able to locate and arrest Lewis in the City of Suffolk later that same day, around 3:00 p.m. Lewis is currently being held in Norfolk City Jail without bond.
