Upon receiving a report of shots fired, Chicago police swiftly responded to the scene and discovered multiple individuals who had been struck by gunfire. The 53-year-old victim, tragically identified as Maurice O. Hall by the Medical Examiner’s Office, had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to his leg and was rushed to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Another man, aged in his 60s, was found with a gunshot wound to his arm and was also transported to the University of Chicago in stable condition. The third victim, a 37-year-old man, suffered from multiple gunshot wounds to his body and was rushed to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.
