# Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office Makes Multiple Arrests

## Scott Lefort Arrested for Driving While Impaired

In a recent incident on May 23, 2024, Scott Lefort, a 48-year-old resident of Warsaw, NY, was arrested by a Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office deputy for driving while impaired by drugs. The deputy stopped Lefort’s vehicle on Route 20A in the Town of Warsaw for Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. After conducting Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, the deputy observed signs of impairment from drugs. Lefort was then taken to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office for a Drug Recognition evaluation, where it was determined that he was unsafe to operate a motor vehicle. Lefort was charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, DWAI- Combination, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation First Degree, and other Vehicle and Traffic Law infractions. He was released on appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Warsaw Town Court on June 3, 2024.

## Kevin McFall Arrested for Operating Vehicle with Suspended Registration

Another incident on May 23, 2024, involved the arrest of Kevin McFall, a 53-year-old resident of Corning, NY. A Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office deputy stopped McFall’s vehicle on Route 20A in the Town of Orangeville for suspended registration. It was discovered that the vehicle’s registration was suspended due to no insurance in effect, and McFall had a suspended New York State driver’s license. McFall was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Third Degree, in addition to other traffic infractions. He was released on appearance tickets and is set to appear in Orangeville Town Court on June 12, 2024.

## Adam K. Hotchkiss Arrested for Operating Vehicle with Suspended Registration

On May 31, 2024, Adam K. Hotchkiss, a 36-year-old resident of Perry, NY, was arrested by a deputy with the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration. The deputy observed Hotchkiss traveling westbound on Route 20A near Folsomdale Road with a suspended registration. In a late-night incident on June 2, 2024, Cassie L. Hughes, a 39-year-old resident of Silver Springs, NY, was arrested by deputies from the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office and New York State Police for driving while intoxicated. Hughes was involved in a motor vehicle accident on East Perry Avenue in the Village of Silver Springs. Following an investigation, deputies determined that Hughes was under the influence and arrested her for Driving While Intoxicated, Aggravated DWI – .18% BAC or Greater, and Moving from a Lane Unsafely. Hughes was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Gainesville Town Court.

## Abdullah Khan Arrested for Operating Vehicle with Forged Inspection Sticker

Abdullah Khan, a 50-year-old resident of Schenectady, NY, was arrested in the Town of Perry for operating a vehicle with a forged inspection sticker and a suspended NY Registration. Khan was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Perry Town Court on June 29, 2024.

## Timothy Mattson Arrested for Driving While Intoxicated

During a patrol on Route 77 in the Town of Sheldon on June 9, 2024, Timothy Mattson, a 35-year-old resident of Jamestown, NY, was arrested for driving while intoxicated. After failing Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, Mattson was found to be above the legal limit and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and DWI .08% BAC or Higher, along with Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. He was released on appearance tickets and is due to appear in Sheldon Town Court on June 24, 2024.

## Bradley P. Woods Arrested for Domestic Incident

Bradley P. Woods, a 29-year-old resident of Warsaw, NY, was arrested following a domestic incident. He is charged with Aggravated Family Offense, Assault in the Third Degree, and Menacing in the Third Degree. Woods was arraigned in the Village of Warsaw Court and committed to jail with “no bail”. He is scheduled to appear back in Warsaw Court at a later date.

## Adian J. Blasdell Arrested for DWI Drugs

Adian J. Blasdell, a 20-year-old resident of Arcade, NY, was arrested for DWI drugs following a traffic stop for a red-light violation. Blasdell showed signs of impairment and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. A drug influence evaluation determined that Blasdell was allegedly under the influence of cannabis. He was charged with DWI drugs and other traffic violations, and given an appearance ticket to appear in the Village of Arcade Court on June 20, 2024.

## Jean O. Martinez Arrested for Operating Vehicle with Suspended Registration

Lastly, on June 2, 2024, Jean O. Martinez, a 42-year-old resident of Leicester, NY, was arrested for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration in the Town of Warsaw. Martinez was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended Registration and released with an appearance ticket returnable to the Warsaw Town Court.
