In a heartbreaking turn of events, a 65-year-old alms seeker, S. Ravi, was found brutally murdered at the foot of Vallimalai near Katpadi town in Vellore. Ravi, originally from Madurai, had been living in the area for years, seeking shelter in temporary tents and thatched houses near the Lord Murugan Temple.

Missing Person Report Sparks Investigation
Ravi’s disappearance had caused a stir on social media, as he had recently tipped off authorities about illegal activities in the area, including sand mining and ganja sales.
