Today, as I made my way to the High Commission of the Republic of Malawi in South Africa, my heart was heavy with sorrow as I prepared to pay my respects to the late Vice President, Dr. SAULOS KLAUS CHILIMA, and the other nine individuals who tragically lost their lives. As I entered the High Commission, I was greeted by a somber atmosphere, with visitors from all walks of life coming together to honor the memory of those who had passed on.

I approached the Condolences Book with a sense of reverence, knowing that my words would be a small tribute to the lives that had been lost.
