Philip J. Hway was a beloved member of the West Bend community, known for his kind heart and generous spirit. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who always put his family first. Philip had a passion for gardening and spent many hours tending to his beautiful flowers and vegetables. He was also an avid sports fan, cheering on the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers with enthusiasm.

Born and raised in West Bend, Philip was a proud graduate of West Bend High School. After graduation, he went on to work at the local hardware store, where he became a familiar face to many residents in the community. Philip was known for his excellent customer service and willingness to go above and beyond to help others.
In his free time, Philip enjoyed fishing at nearby lakes and spending time with his grandchildren. He was known for his sense of humor and always had a joke ready to make those around him laugh. Philip will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Philip J. Hway on June 13, 2024, at the West Bend Community Center. Family and friends are invited to gather together to share memories, stories, and laughter in remembrance of a life well-lived. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the West Bend Food Pantry, a cause that was close to Philip’s heart.
Philip J. Hway is survived by his loving wife, Sarah, his children, Michael (Jennifer) and Emily (David), and his grandchildren, Jacob, Olivia, and Ava. He is also survived by his siblings, Thomas (Sara) and Jennifer (Mark), as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. They ask for privacy as they grieve the loss of a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.
