Tragic Accident Claims Lives of Two Young Girls
In a heartbreaking turn of events, a tragic accident in Utica has resulted in the loss of two young lives. The incident occurred on Bonnie View Road near State 44 on Tuesday afternoon when an ATV collided with a car, claiming the lives of both the driver and passenger of the ATV.

Victims identified
The victims have been identified as 11-year-old Mesa Fredenhaden and 7-year-old Kennedi Harris, both residents of Oshkosh. The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office released a statement confirming their identities, shedding light on the devastating impact of the accident.
Driver and Passenger Injured
The driver of the car involved in the collision has been identified as a 43-year-old woman from Oshkosh who was traveling with her 13-year-old son as a passenger. The woman sustained minor injuries in the crash, but her son escaped unharmed. Despite the shock and trauma of the situation, the woman immediately called 911 and began to render first aid to the victims.
Efforts to Save Lives
First responders arrived at the scene of the accident around 12:41 p.m. on Tuesday and found the occupants of the ATV in critical condition. Despite their best efforts to save them, one of the victims passed away at the scene, while the other was rushed to a local hospital. Tragically, the second victim succumbed to their injuries shortly after.
