The incident, which occurred on Sunday, June 9, prompted an immediate response from emergency services after flames engulfed a single-family dwelling. Upon arrival, Campground Fire Department personnel discovered evidence of a burglary and arson, leading to a comprehensive investigation by Kentucky State Police.

Details of the Investigation

Preliminary findings from the investigation suggest that the suspects forcibly entered the residence, bypassing the alarm system, and made off with valuables amounting to over $10,000. Suspect Apprehended
