Blast in Ratodero Leads to Sealing of LPG Cylinder Shops
In a recent development in Ratodero town, 14 LPG cylinder shops were sealed by the local administration following a blast in a cylinder shop the previous day. The incident has heightened fears of a tragedy similar to the one that occurred on May 30 in Paretabad, Hyderabad, which claimed the lives of 27 individuals.

The mukhtiarkar of Ratodero, Abdul Sami Luhar, informed journalists that the shops were sealed as they were being run illegally. This action was taken after receiving directives from the Larkana deputy commissioner. The sealed shops, situated in the heart of the town, will only be opened after mandatory inspection by civil defense officials.
The deputy commissioner emphasized that the shops would not be allowed to resume business until they receive clearance from civil defense authorities. An inquiry will also be launched into the LPG cylinder blast that took place in Jalbani locality, Ratodero, resulting in burns for five individuals.
Tragic Losses in Recent Cylinder Blasts
Sadly, the death toll from the Paretabad gas cylinder explosion rose to 27, with the passing of another victim in Karachi. Four-year-old Waris, son of Bilal, succumbed to his injuries at Patel Hospital, Karachi, where he was being treated following the tragic incident on May 30.
In a separate incident, Mohammad Saleh, 51, who sustained 70% burns in the Bhitshah LPG cylinder explosion, also passed away at Liaquat University Hospital (LUH) Hyderabad. Earlier, Dilbar, 50, had lost his life on June 7 due to injuries from the same blast.

The condition of blast victims Khuda Bux, 65, Bheemlal, 26, Nadir Ali, 26, and Waheed Shah, 56, remains critical, with varying degrees of burns. They are all under intensive care at the hospital, fighting for their lives.
These tragic incidents serve as a stark reminder of the dangers associated with LPG cylinder shops and the importance of strict regulations to prevent such disasters from reoccurring.
