Janet, who was 80 years old, passed away on Saturday in Phoenix, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, dedication, and love for all those she touched.
Janet was a shining light within our community, always ready with a smile and a kind word for everyone she encountered. Whether she was cheering on our athletes from the sidelines or volunteering her time to support our programs, Janet’s passion for Valpo Athletics was infectious.

To honor Janet’s memory and celebrate her life, a Celebration of Life will be held at the ARC on Saturday, June 15 from 2–5 p.m. Friends, family, and members of the Valpo Athletics community are invited to join together to share stories, memories, and support during this difficult time. Brief remarks will be made at 4 p.m. to pay tribute to Janet’s impact on all of us.
As we come together to remember Janet, we are reminded of the incredible impact she had on our community and the lives she touched. Her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her, and her legacy will continue to inspire us all.
