TIFT COUNTY, Ga. Crash Claims Four Lives
A tragic incident unfolded on Tuesday, June 4, on I-75 North in Tift County, Georgia, resulting in the loss of four lives. The Georgia State Patrol (GSP) and MCCD officers responded to a crash near mile marker 69, where a devastating collision took place, claiming multiple lives.

Details of the Crash
The investigation into the crash revealed that a vehicle was travelling in the center lane of the interstate, while a tractor-trailer was parked on the right shoulder. The driver of the vehicle failed to maintain their lane, causing the vehicle to veer into the right side of the roadway, ultimately colliding with the back of the tractor-trailer before coming to a final rest.
Loss of Lives
Tragically, the driver of the vehicle and three passengers succumbed to their injuries at the scene of the crash. Additionally, one passenger was rushed to a local hospital but tragically passed away from their injuries. Among the deceased, 22-year-old Serigne Mbodji from Atlanta has been identified, while the others are currently in the process of being identified. Next of kin have yet to be notified for those who remain unidentified.
