Randy was born on April 19, 1947, in Peterborough, Ontario, to the late James and Margaret Andrew. He grew up in a loving and supportive family and was known for his kind and caring nature. Randy attended Peterborough Collegiate Vocational School and went on to pursue a career in the automotive industry.

Throughout his life, Randy was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He was a pillar of strength for his family and always put their needs above his own. Randy had a passion for classic cars and spent many hours restoring and working on them in his spare time. He was also an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time out on the water.

In addition to his love for cars and fishing, Randy was known for his sense of humor and infectious laugh. He had a way of making everyone around him feel comfortable and at ease. Randy will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and unwavering love for his family.

Randy is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca, his children, Sarah (Mark) and Michael (Jennifer), and his grandchildren, Emily, Jacob, and Olivia. He is also survived by his siblings, Susan (Tom) and David (Linda), as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A celebration of Randy’s life will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church in Peterborough on October 20, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre in Randy’s memory.

Randy will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May he rest in peace.
