Peter was born on July 12, 1950, in Chicago, Illinois, to James and Margaret Glynn. He grew up in a close-knit family and developed a strong work ethic from a young age. Peter attended St. Patrick High School, where he excelled academically and was a standout athlete on the basketball team. After high school, he went on to earn a degree in business from Loyola University.

Peter had a successful career in the financial industry, where he worked for over 30 years. He was known for his sharp mind, attention to detail, and dedication to his work. Peter was a mentor to many of his colleagues and was respected for his integrity and professionalism.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Peter was a devoted family man. He met the love of his life, Sarah, in college, and they were married for 45 years. Together, they raised three wonderful children, Michael, Jennifer, and Brian. Peter was a loving and supportive father who always put his family first. He took great pride in his children’s accomplishments and was their biggest cheerleader.
Peter was also a doting grandfather to his five grandchildren. He loved spending time with them, whether it was playing games, reading stories, or taking them on adventures. His grandchildren adored him and will always cherish the memories they made together.

A celebration of Peter’s life will be held on Saturday, May 15th, at St. Mary’s Church in Chicago. The service will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by a reception in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in Peter’s memory.
