New York State Police are currently investigating a devastating UTV accident that took place in Bridgewater. The incident occurred on Monday evening, around 7:30 p.m., when State Troopers from SP Marcy responded to reports of a UTV accident with possible entrapment at 1011 Hardscrabble Road.

According to the initial investigation, a 2020 Polaris Ranger UTV driven by Eric Ruggles, a 38-year-old resident of Cassville, struck a mailbox and overturned after hitting a culvert on a driveway.
