Tragic Road Accident Claims Two Lives in Chitwan
Tragedy struck on the Narayanghat-Mugling road section on Sunday night, resulting in a devastating road accident that has left two individuals dead. The victims have been identified as 13-year-old Soyan Pun from Naubahini Rural Municipality-13, Pyuthan, and 29-year-old co-driver Rajan Subedi hailing from Bahrabise Municipality in Sindupalchowk district.

Details of the Accident
The fatal incident occurred when four vehicles collided at Satra Kilo of Bharatpur Metropolis-29. Among the vehicles involved were a bus en route to Pyuthan from Kathmandu, a truck heading towards Mugling from Narayanghat, another bus on its way to Bardibas, Mahottari from Kathmandu, and a bus heading towards Kathmandu from Birgunj.
Loss of Lives
Tragically, Soyan Pun lost his life at the scene of the accident, while Rajan Subedi succumbed to his injuries during treatment at Chitwan Medical College. The Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and Spokesperson for the District Police Office, Chitwan, Bhesh Raj Rijal, confirmed Subedi’s passing, adding that a total of 21 injured individuals are currently receiving medical care at the same hospital.
