The drama unfolded at the intersection of Railroad Avenue and Cedar Street around 6:57 p.m., when a concerned citizen dialed 911 to report a robbery in progress. According to police reports, a male victim was viciously punched in the face, rendering him unconscious. The assailant then proceeded to steal the victim’s backpack before fleeing the scene.

Zamora was promptly charged with Robbery in the Second Degree, a class C felony, and detained for arraignment.
