The deceased, Fore Singh (64) and his son Tarun Singh (30), lost their lives after coming in contact with live electric wires while attempting to repair them. Another victim, Mohd Sajib from the Bibir Bagan area in North Kolkata, tragically succumbed to injuries caused by the collapse of a wall in a dilapidated building.

Additionally, the Mousuni Islands in South 24 Parganas witnessed another tragic incident as an 80-year-old woman, Renuka Mondal, was killed when a tree uprooted by strong winds fell on her. The aftermath of the cyclone also resulted in the collapse of several mud houses in the area, further exacerbating the plight of the residents.
