The victims recounted that they were travelling eastbound when a black Dodge pickup truck started tailgating their SUV. The situation quickly escalated as the truck overtook them, forced them off the road, and abruptly stopped in front of their vehicle. Two men emerged from the pickup and began firing at the victims’ SUV. Miraculously, no one was injured, despite the barrage of bullets.
Evidence of the Attack
Upon investigation, deputies discovered nine bullet holes in the vehicle, along with a shattered front passenger window. Independent witnesses corroborated the victims’ version of events, providing crucial information to the detectives.
