Prajapati’s criminal history dates back to his time working at a steel factory in Jabalpur, where he suffered severe burns in an explosion. After the assaults, he would steal the victims’ mobile phones to prevent them from seeking help. The stolen phones were later sold with the assistance of his accomplices, Rahul and Sandeep. A total of 16 mobile phones have been recovered from the arrested perpetrators.
