The victims have been identified as John Nongrum of Jatah village, Phingel Umbah of Korhadem village in Ri-Bhoi district, and Dawa Sherpa from Bhojpur, Nepal.

Director General of Police Idashisha Nongrang confirmed the devastating news, stating that the authorities have received reports of the incident.
