It has been alleged that the hospital lacked a proper fire exit system, and as a result, relevant sections of the law have been invoked in the case. Shockingly, it was discovered that the hospital’s No Objection Certificate had expired on March 31, and despite being permitted for only five beds, it was accommodating more than ten. The accused, Naveen, reportedly owns three more clinics in the city, raising concerns about the safety of patients in his establishments.

**Investigation and Cause of the Fire**

Preliminary investigations suggest that the fire was caused by a short circuit, which then ignited some cylinders stored on the premises. However, a detailed investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the tragic incident. Forensic teams and crime investigation units have been deployed to gather evidence and piece together the sequence of events leading to the fire.

**Assurance of Justice and Support**

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj have both pledged to ensure that those responsible for the negligence leading to the incident face strict action. Minister Bharadwaj has directed government officials to expedite compensation to the families of the deceased and the injured individuals. He has also instructed that the rescued children receive free treatment at the best private hospitals under the Farishtey Scheme.

In the wake of this devastating tragedy, the community mourns the loss of these young lives and hopes for a thorough investigation to prevent such incidents in the future. The authorities are urged to take stringent measures to ensure the safety and well-being of all patients in healthcare facilities across the city..
