A tragic incident occurred in Jaipur, Rajasthan, as a 28-year-old married woman fell from the 4th floor of her house in the Ramganj area. The woman, identified as Shivani, succumbed to her injuries the following morning. Her family has since lodged a case of murder and dowry harassment against her husband and in-laws, alleging that she was a victim of domestic violence.

Details of the Incident
Shivani, originally from Agra, Uttar Pradesh, was married to Hansraj Jatav, a resident of Raigaron Ki Kothi area in Ramganj. The couple had a 5-year-old son and were known to frequently quarrel. According to an officer from the Ramganj police station, the incident took place around 11 pm on Thursday when Shivani fell from the 4th floor of her house. She was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately passed away during treatment.
Allegations of Murder and Dowry Harassment
Shivani’s mother, Phoolwati, has filed a case of dowry harassment, murder, and domestic violence against Shivani’s in-laws and husband. In the FIR, it was alleged that Shivani was harassed for a dowry of Rs 2 lakh and had been continuously subjected to beatings because the family could not pay the amount. A relative informed Phoolwati that Shivani was pushed from the 4th floor by her husband.
Police Investigation and Post-Mortem
