A speeding trailer collided with a bike rider, resulting in the immediate death of 24-year-old Kaleshwar Sahu in the Janjgir-Champa district on Thursday evening. Sahu, a resident of Jawalpur, was returning home from Baloda when the tragic incident occurred in the Baloda police station area.

According to police officials, Sahu, who worked as a gram seller, was riding his bike late in the evening when a trailer travelling at high speed from Naila’s direction crashed into him. The impact of the collision threw Sahu onto the road, causing severe head injuries that led to his untimely demise.
Unfortunately, Sahu was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, exacerbating the severity of his injuries. The trailer also collided with a tree on the roadside before the driver fled the scene, leaving behind a trail of devastation.

For three hours, they blocked the main road, demanding justice and compensation for the loss of a young life.
