DALTONGANJ: Young Boy Charred to Death in Jharkhand Robbery Gone Wrong
In a tragic incident that shook the village of Pakri, located just 5km from the Balumath police station in Jharkhand’s Latehar district, a 12-year-old boy lost his life in a botched robbery attempt. The young boy, identified as Amit Turi, was charred to death during the robbery bid, while his 15-year-old accomplice, Badal Bhuiyan, suffered severe burns amounting to 70% of his body.

The incident took place on a fateful Friday night when the trio of young boys attempted to burglarize a fertiliser and seed shop in the village. Unfortunately, the shop caught fire allegedly from a candle that the boys had used to light their way in the dark. The third accomplice, Sagar Turi, aged 12, managed to escape unscathed, leaving behind a trail of devastation.
Upon receiving the distress call, the Balumath Police swiftly arrived at the scene, with a firefighting vehicle summoned to control the blaze. Despite their efforts, the shop was completely engulfed in flames, leaving behind a grim reminder of the tragic events that transpired.
