Teenager Killed in Tragic Interstate 76 Crash
A devastating incident occurred on Interstate 76, bringing the westbound lanes to a halt. The victim, identified as 16-year-old Dominic Thomas Tomaino from Columbiana County, lost his life in a fatal crash.

Details of the Crash
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Tomaino was driving eastbound in a Volvo when the tragic accident occurred. He veered off the right side of the roadway, striking the guardrail before crossing the lanes and median grass. Tomaino was ejected from the vehicle, which then crossed the westbound lanes, hit the guardrail, and came to a final stop on the shoulder. The coroner pronounced Tomaino dead at the scene.

First responders rushed to the scene of the crash, which was reported around 8:30 p.m. near the Springfield Road bridge in Springfield Township. Despite their efforts, Tomaino did not survive the impact.
